Our policies regarding refunds and service cancellations

Refund Policy Overview

Important Notice

  • HostyIndia offers refunds within 7 days of purchase only for genuine technical issues related to our hosting services.
  • If you experience any issue after purchasing a hosting plan or service, please contact our support team first to allow us the opportunity to resolve it.
  • If the issue is successfully resolved, no refund will be issued and your service will continue as per your plan. However, if our team is unable to fix the issue within the 7-day window, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method.
  • Refunds are not available for personal reasons, change of mind, or misuse of services. Multiple refund requests without valid reasons will be treated as spam and may result in account restrictions.
  • We request all customers to purchase services only when they genuinely need them and have reviewed our refund policy in full before placing an order.

Refunds for Eligible Services

Refunds are available within 7 days of service activation for Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Cloud Hosting, and Offshore Hosting services with 1-month, 3-month, or 6-month durations. Refunds are not available for annual plans, Domains, or any Reseller Hosting plans. Additionally, a 3% transaction fee will be deducted as gateway charges, which is non-refundable.


Non-Refundable Products and Services

The following products and services provided by HostyIndia are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for any fees, including administrative charges or taxes, associated with:

  • Dedicated Servers (Managed & Unmanaged)
  • VPS Servers (Managed & Unmanaged)
  • Server Management Services (for both VPS and Dedicated Servers)
  • Domain Registrations, Renewals, and Transfers
  • All Types of Reseller Hosting Services (including Reseller Hosting, Master Reseller, and Alpha Reseller plans)
  • Additional Products or Services such as CodeGuard, Digital Certificates (SSL), SiteLock, installation/setup fees, or any other add-ons or third-party services offered by HostyIndia.


Important: For VPS and Dedicated Servers (both Managed and Unmanaged), once the service has been delivered and activated, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. This includes all server management work, custom configurations, and setup tasks performed by our team.

Refund Eligibility for Offshore Services

If you are using our Offshore services, refunds may be available within 7 days of activation. However, refunds will not be issued if you are found engaging in illegal activities, such as phishing, creating government portal clones, or hosting illegal websites. In such cases, services will be suspended without any refund.


Refund Eligibility for Reseller Hosting Plans

Refunds are not available for Reseller Hosting plans, which are intended for small business partnerships. If there is an issue with reseller services, we will work to resolve the problem. Refunds will only be issued if the issue remains unresolved. After purchasing, no further debate on this matter will be entertained.


Refund Eligibility for Website Development Services

HostyIndia offers website development services that may involve the integration of third-party modules, plugins, and themes. While we ensure proper integration, we cannot be held responsible for functionality, compatibility, or performance issues related to third-party components. If a third-party component fails to work as expected, we will help identify and resolve the issue. However, no refund will be issued for issues inherent to third-party components beyond our control.


HostyIndia Wallet Policy

Funds added to the HostyIndia Wallet are non-refundable. Please consider this carefully before adding funds, as the wallet balance has no expiration. You can use the wallet funds for purchasing or renewing services as long as you remain a HostyIndia customer.


Cancellation Process

Services provided by HostyIndia.com may be used only for lawful purposes. Transmission, storage, or distribution of any material in violation of applicable laws, including intellectual property rights, obscene or defamatory material, or illegal content, is prohibited. Violations will lead to service suspension without a refund.


Data Retention for Website Development Services

For website development services, your website data will be retained as long as your hosting services are renewed. If hosting services are not renewed, your data will be kept safe for one month. After one month, if the services remain inactive, HostyIndia will not be responsible for any data loss, and no refund will be issued. Please note that website development services are separate from hosting services, and hosting services must be renewed to keep your website active.


Server Management Services

  • Refunds are not available for server management tasks such as Critical Error Management, Firewall Configuration, and DDoS Protection.
  • Once these configurations are implemented, reversing them may negatively impact your server’s performance and security, for which HostyIndia will not be responsible.

Server/Software Licenses

  • No refunds will be provided for any software licenses, including cPanel, WHM, DirectAdmin, or any other third-party licensed tools or software.

Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds are only applicable for services explicitly mentioned under the "Refunds for Eligible Services" section.
  • Please refrain from requesting refunds for any other non-eligible services.
  • For all eligible services, refunds (if applicable) will be credited within 5–7 business days to the original payment method used during purchase.
